The Consultant
Abhiraj Das Ghosh runs ADG Advisory - a GenAI-first fractional CMO practice built on a thesis the marketing industry doesn't want to hear:
Brands don't need agencies. They need internal teams that can actually do the work.
Agencies exist for the blame game at the end of the quarter. I'd rather make your internal team capable enough that you don't need one.
ADG Advisory works with GCCs, growth-stage companies, and founders across MENA and APAC who need senior marketing strategy with actual implementation depth - not another consultant who hands you a deck and walks away.
The anti-agency thesis
I spent years inside agencies and consulting for them. Watched the same pattern repeat: brands hire agencies to have someone to credit when things go well and blame when they don't. The agencies know this. The brands know the agencies know this. Nothing actually changes.
If I don't think I can add value to your business, I say no to you. That's not a sales pitch - it's just how this works when you're not optimising for retainer revenue.
I'd rather spend six months making your internal team capable enough to run the play without me than string you along with a retainer that funds my overhead.
Saptarishi and the agent team
Saptarishi is the working agent team that backs ADG Advisory: a lead agent per marketing vertical, each running its own swarm of specialists underneath. Not a concept. Not a slide deck. An actual system that runs.
Strategy & Positioning, SEO & Content, Paid Media & Analytics, CRO & Conversion, Copywriting, Sales & GTM, Growth & BD, Social & Community - eight verticals, each with a named lead who spawns the specialists a given task needs, instead of one generalist agent guessing at all of them. Forty named agents in total: eight leads, thirty-two specialists underneath them, only ever running the ones a job actually calls for.
When I say I'm a translator between humans and computers, Saptarishi is the infrastructure that makes that translation work at scale for your business.
GenAI framework for GCCs
GCCs have a workforce problem nobody in the GenAI conversation is solving properly: they need to integrate AI capabilities into existing teams without replacing those teams, and they have no framework for how to do that.
The gap isn't prompts. The gap is use cases - specific, operational, tied to actual marketing workflows - that GCC teams can adopt without rebuilding everything from scratch.
Three modules: Discovery & Audit (mapping where AI adds actual value), Integration Playbook (embedding AI into existing workflows without disrupting output), and Capability Building (making your team the agent, not the audience).
Speaking & Training
This is different from the retainer work above. Fractional CMO engagements are ongoing and account-based. Speaking & Training is bookable and time-boxed - built for a team in a room, not a client on a retainer.
Keynote - conference-length, GenAI for marketing, built for an audience that needs the state of the art explained without the hype. Workshop - half or full day, hands-on, teams leave with actual use cases, not a slide deck. Corporate coaching - multi-session capability building, the same territory as the Capability Building module above, run as a defined sprint instead of an embedded engagement.
Built for GCC marketing and ops leadership, in-house marketing teams, and founder-led growth-stage teams, mostly across MENA and APAC.
Why me and not a professional speaker: I build the real systems I talk about - Saptarishi, the Guinness World Record-verified face recognition app - not slideware. I'm Anthropic-certified and a heavy daily Claude Code user, so what I teach is what I actually use. And ELI5 - explain it like you're five - is the operating framework behind everything I do. It's literally the teaching skill this sells.
This is the same anti-agency thesis, running at conference scale: make the team capable, not dependent on me. A keynote, a workshop, a coaching sprint - bounded engagements, same as a day instead of a quarter. Never an open-ended training retainer. That would just recreate the exact dependency this whole page argues against.
What I actually do
- Fractional CMO work for founders and marketing leaders who need senior strategic thinking without the overhead of a full-time hire
- End-to-end AI-powered marketing system builds for GCCs
- GenAI training and capability programmes for marketing teams
- Fractional strategic advisory for growth-stage companies in MENA and APAC
